Geologist

My objective is to work on the geological, mining, corporate development and or environmental fields using all of the knowledge that I have acquire since my university graduation in 1985.

1986-1986 Seismologists, Western Geophysical.
During this period I was train in the basic field operations for a
Seismology crew, Apure State, Venezuela.

1986-1987 Mud Logger, Schlumberger.
During this period I was train in the basic field operations for a
Mud Logger at a drill site, duties included rip descriptions, and
Mud logger cabin duties, Zulia State, Venezuela.

1987-1988 Iron Ore open pit Production Crew Chief operations. Ferrominera del Orinoco, CVG. Iron mines production crew chief supervisor, truck and shovel, drilling, blasting, crushing and conveyor belt mining train loading operations, Bolivar State, Venezuela.

1988-1989 Project Engineering.
Geotechnical studies for the evaluation of rail and port facilities, including design of specs, bids, technical and administrative duties, also dredging and off/on shore geotech drilling, local social development duties. VEPICA, Zulia State, Venezuela.

1989-1991 Environmental Services, Environmental Engineering.
Environmental projects chief, studies contracts management, at PDVSA’S Cardon Refinery, surface and subsurface oil recovery hydrogeology and enviro/geology, preparing of the necessary documentation required by the client and the local authorities, preparing and putting bids and tenders together, FLINT Environmental Services, Falcon and Anzoátegui States, Venezuela.

1991-1995

Coal Exploration manager, administrative and technical responsibilities, budgeting and scheduling, justifications for capital expenditures, capital business plans, liaison with the international project’s partners and government officers reports and updates to the directors and Board, resources definition, mine planning, camp construction and integrated facilities management, HR & HS experienced, Carbozulia ( PDVSA ), Zulia State, Venezuela.

Geologist, projects in the Geological area, also management of my own computer sales business, administration duties, sales, full capable with Windows and Macintosh environments as well as vast variety of software’s titles, budgeting and scheduling, preparing of the necessary documentation required by the clients and the local authorities, solid exposure to all kind of business situations.
