Project: Manufacturing of Heavy Castings such as Control Valve Bodies (ψ1- ψ40) for petrochemical fields, Turbine Blades and other related components.
Period: jan 2010 onwards
Types of work Carried out:
Review QC Documents, Monitor and Witness the Stages of Valve Manufacturing starting from material receiving, material acceptance test, final length marking/cutting, final acceptance, packing, dispatch, preload out and certification.
Review and Evaluate Destructive testings: Tensile test, Impact Test and Hardness test.
Carry out Inspection and Monitoring with Inspection technicians.
Carry out thickness survey and Dimensional Accuracy.
Ensures that all welds meets the Project Requirements and in accordance to the WPS
Control calibrated Measuring and Test Equipments used on the project.
Ensures that repairs are done correctly and accurately to comply with the Project Specification.
Review and Coordination of NDE and Outstanding Inspections.
Witnessed and reviewed reports of Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic Particle Testing and Liquid Penetrant Testing.
Conducted Visual Inspection on Weld repairs and Witness WQT.
Interpret, Evaluate and Review Radiographs as per the Applicable Codes and Standards.
Ascertains that Safety for Welding, Testing and Related Activities are being implemented.
