Career Objective
To develop a network of Retail fuel stations in main cities and National Highways in the central part of Pakistan. Priority is to develop fuel stations according to the Environment, Health and Safety standards.
Professional Experience
My professional career started with Shell Pakistan where I started off as Retail Training Instructor. Then I was promoted to Senior Training Officer. My responsibilities included training of fuel stations staff related to Site Management Systems, Customer Service, Tank Lorry decanting, Environment, Health and Safety, Improving profitability of stations and changing mindsets. In addition to it, my job was to train the Tank Lorry drivers of Shell fleet at Oil Terminal Machike. Worked in Shell Pakistan for 6 years.
Then I moved to Total Parco Pakistan Limited as Senior Training Executive. My job was to develop new training manuals for retail stations and train new training executives. I was promoted to Area Manager Industrial Consumer Sales after 2 years. My second promotion came again after 2 years when I was promoted to Senior Area Manager Retail Sales where I was responsible for managing and increasing sales of retail outlets.
Then I joined Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited as Assistant Manager Network Planning after working in Total Parco for a total of 6.5 years. My responsibility in Byco is to develop Retail Fuel Stations in main cities and Highways. To date, I have developed 22 Retail Outlets in a period of around record 1.5 years.
Eductation
Completed my Matriculation (10th Grade) from Divisional Public School in Lahore, Pakistan in 1987. Passed out from Intermediate in 1990 through Lahore Board. Got admission into Bachelors of Commerce straight away after intermediate and completed it in 1992 from Punjab College of Commerce. Finally after bachelors, I completed my Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from Askari College of Business Administration in 1997.
Certification
I have received a number of certificates for training courses attended and a training award. Training courses attended are Total Quality Retailing, Non-Fuel Retailing, Defensive Training, Positive Mindset Change Training, First Aid Training, Wet Stock Management, Train the Trainers (British Council), Time Management, Train the Trainers by Nasir Aziz (LUMS), ERP Training and Leadership Challenge. I also received an Achievement Award 2000 from Shell Pakistan Limited under Training Awards.
