Snr. MUD and CEMENT Laboratory Engineer

Experienced professional in mud and cementing segment and contributed in the foundation of the Mud & Cement Laboratory , I would have the pleasure of leading this segment as a Drilling Team Leader.

ƒÞ Direct and plans the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory functions and exercises financial authorities at the level established for the position.
ƒÞ Reviews and approves mud and cement well programs with concerned personnel in the drilling division.
ƒÞ Ensures that verified procedures are applied in the evaluation and approval of each well mud, cement and acid programs and approves any change in control procedures.
ƒÞ Checks and ensures that the laboratory is continuously equipped to the highest standards and level required to service the requirements of the drilling rigs operating. Sets up, order and maintains inventory level for the materialistic requirements of the laboratory to ensure immediate support to rig operations.
ƒÞ Coordinates with Mud and cement team leaders in ADCO and ADMA OPCO the mud and cement drilling programs and monitors their performance on the rigs to ensure the planned performance.
ƒÞ Plans the acid program for the stimulation operations on the rigs and monitors their performance on the rigs to ensure the planned performance is achieved.
ƒÞ Co-ordinates with the commercial divisions in ADCO and ADMA OPCO and with the service companies to ensure that cost effective, quality material and safe service is provided by the service and supply contractors.
ƒÞ Ensure functional integration both within the Team and with the rest of the organization and promote team work.
ƒÞ Ensures that terms & conditions of contracts are met by the contractors and are maintained in line with company procedures. Maintains an up-to-date record of actual and projected expenditure and initiates actions required to ensures adherence to company procedures.
ƒÞ Responds to emergency and non-routine drilling/work over situations and provides required instructions to take appropriate measures to relieve the emergency situation.
ƒÞ Ensure that New technology and worldwide experience/knowledge are effectively introduced.
ƒÞ Manage, direct and motivate the Lab. Team to ensure efficient and timely execution of planned activities.
ƒÞ Promote continual monitoring and structured improvement of performance and efficiency in the Team.
