I worked as drilling fluid engineer in Saudi Aramco rigs. Especially deep horizontal wells
(up to 32000 ft MD).
2005 ¡V2008 : Drilling fluid engineer MI SWACO Company Algeria
Worked as drilling fluid engineer in Sonatrach exploration and workover rigs.
Job description:
- Ensure drilling program is followed in a timely / cost effective manner, safely & without
injury to personnel or damage to the environment or assets
- Logistical planning
- Recording & reporting of all relevant ongoing Operations
- Build mud in the rig according to the program specifications.
- Analyze and treat mud during drilling operation or contamination.
- Assist to special operations in the rig (cement job, DST, Displacement of mud).
- Enforcement of safety rules while handling chemical products.

Perfect use of different mud systems
- Bentonitic mud (spud mud)
- KCl polymer mud
- Salt/ XC Polymer / Starch mud system
- Oil base mud
- Emulsion mud
