Job description.

Field operations in vent scrubber, wast water treatment, EDC washing, LE column, steam and condensate net work.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Physical check of rotary and static equipment on periodical manner for its performance/abnormality and taking corrective action.
2. Frequent check tour in functional area and taking proper actions for smooth functioning of the plant. And to ensure the safety of men and machinery.
3. Taking corrective action immediately in case of any spilling of chemicals/materials noticed.
4. Collecting samples for laboratory analysis as per requirement.
5. Monitoring pumps seal pot pressure and oil level and taking corrective actions if required.
6. Checking rupture discs regularly and logging the health in checklist.
7. Ensuring readiness of standby pumps, filters, etc….
8. Execution of filters, strainers cleaning as per schedule.
9. Monitoring neutralization pit levels and pH of contaminated and treated water.
10. Monitoring and recovering EDC from KO pots, CWS and OWS tanks.
11. Working as safely watch whenever hot work, vessel entry jobs are performed.
12. While handing over any equipment for maintenance, ensuring that, care all the safety precautions like positive isolation, depressurization, drining, decontamination, purging and electrical lock out etc are taken.
13. Handing over any job to maintenance only with proper valid safe work permit and taking over from maintenance after ensuring the job perfection and proper housekeeping.
