Data Processing Project Leader

Experience Summary:

12 years in the Oil field, working with International Companies (Schlumberger & PGS) inside and outside Egypt with a very good knowledge of the Seismic Acquisition and Processing techniques in 2D & 3D Land and Marine.

Position Summary:

I have been responsible for providing geophysical support to geophysical processing personnel. I am familiar with, and able to support all phases of 2D and 3D time projects including interfacing with clients (internal or external) to discuss technical issues regarding the processing of a project. I can also function as a liaison between the production team and R&D.

Duties:

Responsible for technical aspects of production jobs.
Responsible for interfacing with clients.
Responsible for disseminating knowledge throughout processing group.
Mentoring junior staff members.
Experience with UNIX and Linux based software packages and workstations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Geophysics.
8 years of experience in time processing land and marine.
4 years of experience in land acquisition.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to multi-task.
Sound knowledge of geophysical principles.
Ability to design efficient workflows to address complex processing problems.
Keen problem recognition and resolution skills.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly, both within the company (R&D and management), and with external clients.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Motivated to produce superior quality products in an efficient manner.
Proficient in the use of MS Office especially PowerPoint.
