?Responsible for managing the contracts of Logistics / Supply Chain & 3PL/4PL related services, evaluations and post award contract management
?Managing 3PL/4PL service providers, freight forwarders and negotiating contracts to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency
?Arranging the safe and cost effective transportation for all the shipments via Air, Sea and Land transportation mode as required
?Prepare shipping documents (Shipping Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin & their legalization) and ensuring all shipping receipts and dispatch documentation is raised in the correct manner, both in terms of contents and time
?Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated storage & movement of goods between the warehouse and various rig sites
?Accomplish consistent improvement in performance of operations and rig support by monitoring lead times, inventory, import/export, asset management
?Manages the team of logistics personnel charged with the task of order preparation and fulfillment, Warehouse Management and Inventory Control by using best practices
?Physically checking, verifying and maintaining record of all incoming shipments and as per the delivery note/packing list and cross check with the relevant orders
?Ensuring proper arrangement of equipments in the warehouse and ensure that all items received and issued as per the order
?Liaise with Accounts Department in order to ensure that freight costs are accurately and timely back charged to customers and other COR Group entities, as applicable
?Manage relationships with local and International vendors for prompt services leading to reduced wait times and follow up with vendors for expedite deliveries
?Implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in accordance with COR
?Lead and execute Cost Management Initiatives to achieve objectives resulting in cost improvement and process optimization
?Establish a database for logistics service providers and prequalify the companies
?Liaise with Inspections and repair machine shop companies for pre rental and post rental Inspection & repair of all drill string & handling tools
?Allocating & managing staff resources according to changing needs
