BROAD FUNCTIONS:
As member of the Finance team, assists in the overall functions of accounting leading to the eventual preparation of financial statements and financial management reports. Presently tasked in the preparation of projected / budget costs and project performance analysis. Involves in the analysis of controls of related costs in all aspects of the project’s financial operations, and provides reportorial data for management perusal, Contractors’ interim reviews and various management financial information requirements,handle the hr and admin department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Finance Team, assists in the –
Preparation of separate year-end Financial Statements for Project;
Reconciliation and analysis of all balance sheet accounts’ balances as at year end;
Preparation of schedules to the year end Financial Statements for Project;
Preparation of projected General and Administrative (G & A) expenses to be incurred by the company;
Furnishing of information to the External Auditors in the performance of audit of Project records by providing schedules that are required;
Liason with MIS to ensure smooth operation of input, data base production and on-going enhancements / systems upgrade under the Peachtree and Delta environment;
Preparation of Cash Flow every Monthly basis.
Independently –
Checks and verifies all types of payments to be made before such payments are forwarded to the Finance Manager for approval;
Prepares Journal Entries to record Accrual of Employees’ Benefits;
As Part of HR and Administration Team –
Preparation of draft and filing of all types of correspondence for employee at site;
Co-ordination for accomodation for the employee at the site;
Co-ordination with the drivers for transportation,for Drinking Water with the Contractor,for Sewerage and Grabage Remeoval with the Contractor,for Diesel reuirement at the site for the vehicle and for food required at site.
