I have over twenty five years experience in subsea related offshore and onshore operations within the Oil, Gas and Telecommunication Cable industry.
The variety of assignments covers all aspects of subsea intervention in the offshore construction industry for the past twenty five years including;
• Jacket Installation,
• Jacket decommissioning
• Subsea template and manifold installation,
• Rigid and flexible pipe-lay ,
• Rigid and Flexible Pipeline trenching
• Telecommunication and umbilical trenching
• Cable installation,
• Pipeline inspection,
• Pipeline tie ins,
• ROV Support.
• Diver support
I have had overall responsibility for the effective execution of offshore work scopes on various types of vessels including
• Semi Submersible Crane Vessel,
• Dive Support Vessel,
• Multi Support Vessel,
• Plough Support Vessel,
• Pipelay Barge,
• Flexible Product Installation Vessel,
• Cable Lay Vessel
• Drilling Rigs.
I have been responsible for compiling and implementing offshore procedures that comply with the relevant offshore regulations and that all operations are carried out efficiently, with due regard to the Health, Safety and Welfare of all personnel.
As the senior company representative offshore, I have been able to develop and maintain communications with client offshore representative, vessel/installation management and onshore management.
I have been responsible for conducting project briefings with all the relevant parties to ensure understanding of the operation and proposed method for safe and timely completion of relevant projects.
