I have been in the IT & Telcomms industries most of my life. After qualifying as a Telomm Technician in 1991 I worked as a Technician forr Telkom SA for 10 years. My duties were installations , Fault finding and maintanance on the Telkom SA network which included telegraph equipment, Analogue data transmission, digital transmission (Diginet, ISDN, X25, DSL, ADSl, etc). I were also invloved in cabling (telephone & Data). Later I was promoted to Product specialist for the South African Internet Exchange for the Free State and Northern Cape, South Africa. Pre and post sales consulting. I left Telkom SA for Intekom (internet service provider) where i was responsible for everything in the area from admin to sales, Cisco installations & configurations, monitorning, budgeting, cleaning the office and doing alround maintanance to all equipment and facilities. I was bought out by Netactive where I spent around 2 years when the compnay was bought out by World Online and then by Tiscali before they shut down operations and I went on my own doning allround IT support in the Southern Cape. During this time I qualified as a CCNP, CCSA ad CCSE soing network management and pre and post sales consulting to the sales team designing solutions to customers needs and manageind role-outs and cot-overs. I also payed the role as team leader.

Honest, dependable, energetic, innovative with drive. I love new challenges, work very well in a team and on my own. I can survive on my own for long periods of time. I beleive in sharing knowledge and am always ready to learn and take on a new challenge. When I do not work I keep myslef busy with constructive things like reading, hiking and fixing things around the house or socialising with friends and collueges as I beleive to be able to work well together there das to be a certain degree of friendship and trust.
