• Entailing all lifting operations on the rig, driving the forklift and operate PDPH (Pipe Deck Pipe Handler)
• Has been promoted to a Roughneck within 2 shifts
• As a Roughneck worked on the Drill floor rigging up and using rig tongs for pipe handling operations and all general work that accompanies the drilling operations i.e. nipple up and nipple down operations on the BOP (Blow Out Preventer), install riser, working shale shakers and rig skidding operations. Make up and break out BHA (bottom hole assembly).

• Work directly with Project Management on several large contracted projects working with major clients including: BP/CA, WA, and EA Platforms; BP/Phase 1 Shan Deniz Project; BP/Phase 2 Subsea Pipeline Project; BP/Phase 3 Subsea Pipeline Project; BP/DUQ Platform; SOCAR Pipeline Project
• Entail the receiving cuttings from the well to CRI tanks and slurrifying them before injecting into a doner well
• Using a CCB (Clean-cut Cuttings Blower)
• Using Centrifuges and Vacuum units.
• Ability to discharge ISO Pumps to a boat and to DCBs
• Gained experience of working with and to international standards (API, ASME, ASTM, ASNT, etc).
• Promoted to local supervisor and have completed all the required courses for BP to work offshore.
• Developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills working closely with Azerbaijani and Expatriate management to achieve project goals.
