Responsibilities:
ƒÓ Sonde Lab In-Charge for Schlumberger, North East India
ƒÓ Accountable for Hydraulics(Sonde) Maintenance of Downhole Tools and Surface Equipments of 5 units.
ƒÓ Mentoring the team to ensure all assigned tools and equipments are continually maintained at shop with highest standards resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.
ƒÓ Assists the maintenance team for development and coaching.
ƒÓ Assign and Perform Quality Checks, Modifications and troubleshooting strictly as per procedure and according to the defined schedule.
ƒÓ Drives their workflow and ensures data entry is accurate, timely and honestly.
ƒÓ Records all maintenance and failure events immediately and accurately.
ƒÓ Actively uses Online Support for technical solutions and knowledge sharing.
ƒÓ Reduce the consumable cost of maintenance by emphasis on preventive/proactive maintenance.
ƒÓ Organize various training sessions for the team to enhance their performance.eg- soldering of different components,Basic downhole tools maintenance, Recent failure Alerts,Etc.
ƒÓ Regulate and allocate jobs involving routine checkups and maintenance activities.
ƒÓ Participates in Root Cause Analysis of failures and trouble shooting and thereafter identify areas for improvement with Remedial Work Plan.
ƒÓ Carry out Quality Audit, Inspection & Assessment of Sonde Lab as per Schlumberger Standard.
ƒÓ Participates in advanced schools and seminars related to expertise, for refreshing and actually sharing knowledge with the maintenance team.
ƒÓ Ordering of necessary spares and accessories from approved vendors for improving the Maintenance Efficiency of the Location.
ƒÓ Ensure proper inventory management and spares management.
ƒÓ Visit Onshore Rigs, Offshore Rigs and other Locations when necessary to repair or maintain the equipment & MDT Pressure test,sampling jobs.

ƒÓ Active member of Quality Steering Committee for the Location which represents employees and management, and addresses Quality and Service Quality issues. The QSC monitors, encourages and supports the process of establishing a learning environment for continuous quality improvement.
