Professional Experience
As for supervisory skills, I have worked twenty years offshore worldwide, supervising, coaching and passing on skills to the Vietnamese, Malaysian and Congolese nationals, and have a proven track record in working safely on every project.
Also I have had experience in project commissioning work on new builds, having worked for fourteen months as commissioning technician for AMEC/James Scott on the AGIP Tiffany Platform hook up in the North Sea and also for Smedvig fifteen months on the new building West Alliance self erecting drilling semi sub, in Keppel Shipyard, Singapore, as commissioning electrical supervisor, before taking the vessel to work in Malaysia.
In Singapore I was given more or less a free role to work directly with the shipyard engineers and liaise with the contracting foreman building the Drilling Equipment Set for the West Alliance

Seven O grade level and 3 Higher grade level to High School Level
Higher National Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering gained at Bell College
Certification
I have kept my RGIT firefighting, survival/HUET up to date for offshore work and have just completed my ASET electrical equipment in hazardous areas course and NUTEC emergency response fire team member both in Aberdeen I also have been to courses in Houston U.S.A.for both Hill Graham and M&I control of SCR including fiber optics and PLC and to Singapore and Montrose U.K.for the Varco Top Drive and MD Totco instrumentation courses
