Has extensive experience for Provide technical expertise in the field of process safety management and risk engineering during FEED (Front End Engineering Design) phases of the project/construction, commissioning and start up phases. Ensures effective planning, management and coordination of all HSE activities are considered at various project stages. This includes emergency response, fire fighting, occupational health, medical support, field safety etc. Advise during project design stage on process involving the design & operations of facilities to ensure safety and minimize risk from the environment al, health and safety perspective. Coordinates the hazard identification process, coordinates HAZOP, formal safety assessments, process safety management issues and management of change to identify implications. Provides strategic planning and execution of HSE programs and activities, staffing and training. Directs teams for emergency response for each of various contractors working in the project and plays a key role in their training. Conducts and controls the systematic identification, assessment and control of hazards and risks during different project stages. Monitors critical activities, maintains the risk inventory, coordinate qualitative and quantitative risk analysis. Develops Safety project procedures covering mechanical, electrical isolation, fire protection systems, escape, evacuation and rescue systems, pre start up and safety reviews, follows up to ensure implementation and compliance. Monitors incidents and near misses rates. Conducts RCA (Root Causes Analysis) of incidents as a regular feature.

Bachelor degree majoring in HSE.

Reviews any incident reports such as Lost Time Incidents and serious Near misses. Ensure appropriate actions are taken t0 prevent same accident in future. Prepares regular reports on progress, performance, losses. Failures, achievement, tracking and trending and expectations for future management information and decisions. Monitors the quality and performance for safety culture and compliance against KPI's and continuous improvement. Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading/ taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc. Assure the risk management key process is applied and effective through the use of Hazard Identifications Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit to Work (PTW) Programs and other means available to mitigate, Participate in all high risk or critical activities to assure adequate measures have been taken to reduce the risk to the lowest reasonably practical level, Assure adequate measures are being taken to assure compliance with local and international rules and regulations in the areas of personnel safety and the environment specifically, offshore waste management and discharges, Assure all safety critical and fire protection equipment is maintained, tested and in good working order.
