Mechanical Design Engineer

Get the opportunity to apply my Mechanical Engineering education and skills, in addition to continuous self-development in a medium to large size organization.

Feb, 13th 2011 – April, 6th 2011 (J. Ray McDermott international Inc.)
Hired as project engineer working with HUC (Hook Up and Commissioning) Team, tasks handled as follows:
• I was responsible in receiving and inspecting project equipments such as switch gears, transformers, etc. Also, attend two courses in the designing and construction of platforms.

Sep, 26th 2010 – Jan, 30th 2011 (GCC)
Worked as piping engineer, tasks handled as follows:
• I was helping the construction manager in ordering and receiving pipes, flanges and supports.
Feb, 27th 2010 – June, 6th 2010 (SADAF) B.S. degree coop training program.
Stationary Equipment Engineer, tasks handled as follows:
• I worked with six inspectors and engineers, they were responsible for six different plants, my job was mainly doing inspections, being familiar with different stationary equipments such as: Boilers, Furnaces, Heat Exchangers, Pipe lines and Pressure vessels.

June, 6th 2007 – Oct, 3rd 2007 (Schlumberger)
Field Specialist, tasks handled as follows:
• I was trained to be an Explosive Specialist in the Wireline Department, I was familiar with lots of filed skills, equipments used in Schlumberger operations, such as:
 Preparing trucks and tools to go for jobs in Aramco fields.
 Checking Rig Up equipments in addition to rigging up and rigging down the tools.
 Helping Engineers preparing logging tools and testing them.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 2.65 out of 4.0 scale.
