Accountant

(SCIPCO) a 1.6 billion USD joint venture between GDF SUEZ International Power and Sumitomo Corporation with ADWEA.I report to the Business Manager.

Responsibilities include
o Supervising the team of 2 individuals and reporting to Business Manager
o Preparing and submitting monthly financial results to three share holder companies by meeting the deadlines
o Monitoring all Management Accounting functions including Treasury, Inventory and Cash Forecasting
o Responsible for holding monthly budget reviews with the Section Heads to discuss the monthly results and preparing latest forecasts
o Having the role which involves a vast amount of liaison with the Business Manager for preparing financial results including variance analysis, KPI’s, sales and costs analysis
o Responsible for financial models used for financial analysis, budgeting, management reporting & costing purposes
o Monitoring Stock levels and advising Section heads over re-order quantities to minimize inventory levels as well as related expenses
o Managing banking issues of the company
o Manage the Fixed Asset schedule and doing the Addition and Disposal
o Preparing Indexation schedule for the agreement Fees between the Owner and Operator Company
o Supervision of Account payables, Supplier reconciliation & ensure timely disbursement of payment.
o Maintaining Chart of Accounts and Update accordingly in Maximo through Sun Maxilink Interface.
o Liaison with the external and internal auditors in conducting annual and periodic audit assignments to ensure the efficiency of the system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) with major in Finance from India.
• Pursuing ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountant) from UK.

Academic: Bachelor’s Degree in Science (BSC) Computers& Electronics, from India
