A mechanical engineer with 21 years experience (10 years in the Oil & Gas industry and 12 years in sales).

His 10 years in the O&G industry include working as construction supervisor responsible of identifying the infrastructure needs required by the production teams for transportation and storage of the oil and gas to be produced in the marginal field “La Concepción” at Zulia State in Venezuela. Responsibilities: As a medium project manager, ensure the strict compliance of project specifications, project plans, international and company standards in all project phases. Special attention to, subcontractor selection, equipment and materials procurement, project progress, QA/QC plan implementation, safety procedures and budget control.

He has worked as a mechanical engineer coordinating and supervising construction works and installation of surface facilities such as; gas-lift manifolds (1.600 PSI), injection water plants, flow stations (Offshore at Maracaibo’s Lake), the two main pump stations Lagunillas – Amuay (200.000 BPD / eight centrifugal pumps), air conditioning systems (DX and Chillers), firefighting systems, vertical pumps installations, dehydration oil plant and different sizes of pipelines (6-34 inches and 4-28 Km in length). The most important pipeline project handled was a 34” diameter and 100.000 ft length including two 34” Hot-Tapping & Plugging, geometrical inline test, hydrostatic test, pigging & scraper launching/reception and commissioning; major achievements in the project, $65,000 in savings and start-up before deadline.

Substantial part of his experience is focused on being part of multi-disciplinary project teams. He has well-developed communication and presentation skills. His personal skills include attention to detail, quick learner, client-oriented, proactive and an effective team player. Fluent in Spanish, good command in English
