Service Engineer Instrumentation- Flow Measurement

Job Profile
• Installation, commissioning & maintenance of flow measurement equipment such as Multiphase meter for the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Undertake troubleshooting and calibration of Multiphase flow meter. Establish inventory and spares requirement for maintaining operational efficiency.
• Interface and establish communication with client data acquisition systems over RS-232, RS-485, TCP/IP protocol.
• Liaise with the client, understand technical as well as flow measurement problems and recommend solutions. Conversant with other standard flow meter technologies for single and dual phase flow.
• Certified to employ PVTx package to prepare fluid properties data for use in Multiphase meters.
• Perform Well testing involving interpretation of the log data, reservoir fluid characteristics & flow regimes.
• Familiarize with the process equipment, plant instrumentation and its operation. Calibration of flow transmitters, bench calibration, etc.
• Elucidate product and technology training through classroom and on-site training for International Oil&Gas companies.

My work with Roxar allowed me to gain valuable international exposure during the commissioning stage for major multinational and national oil & gas companies in the Middle East. It also gave me detailed understanding of oil and gas production stages with exposure to the latest flow measurement technology and standards.
