OIL PIPELINE Operation Technician (Field/Control)

 Proper use of GPS-1 and 2 pumping station equipment, process instrumentation, monitoring and control systems, and communication system according to the usage standard and/or manufacturer’s instruction to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pipeline system.

 Ensure maintenance requirements of the GPS-1 and 2 pumping station and equipment are performed or provided by the support groups through regular check-up of the facility and equipment condition and requiring the immediate or timely repair, when necessary, of said facility and equipment

 Correct execution of all GPS-1 and 2 operating and emergency procedures to ensure products are delivered on time, on specification, and without volume loss, and to assure the safe and efficient operation of the pipeline system.

 Timely preparation and release, and proper filing of highlights, reports, document, pumping schedules, and monitoring log sheets that provide critical information to management, supply the documents required by other departments, and create a record trail of daily operations and activities

 Respond to emergency situations that might arise in GPS-1 and 2 and all other stations and in the ROW. This includes use of fire hoses, extinguishers, and operation of fire engine. Participates in drills and trainings.

 Coordination and communication with internal (NROD, SROD, Maintenance, Comptrollership, etc.) and external (Caltex, Shell, contractors) groups to maintain an efficient and effective flow of operations activities

 Operates Oil Water separator pump

 Operates and monitors GenSet Equipment
