Drilling Engineer with 15 years of experience

My main challenge as a Drilling Engineer is to optimize well cost fully achieving all well within a high standard of safety.

I am drilling Engineer with a solid experience in the drilling area. I have worked for 15 continuous years in drilling. I have had the opportunity to work in both the planning and development of the drilling programs and the execution of some activities on site, both onshore and offshore.

My main responsibilities are
A. Design and draw up drilling programs and I manage drilling contracts. Also, I make all necessary changes during drilling to ensure efficient results,
B. Supervise on site, the following operations: run casing, cementing and completion operations.
C. Provide engineering support and technical advice to contractors.
D. Prepare cost estimates.
E. Prepare final Well Reports.
F. Monitor day to day all phases of the drilling operations.
G. Discuss with drilling superintendent any anomaly detected during drilling operations in order to find adequate engineering solutions.
H. Prepare technical specifications required by business department.
I. Work closely with resource teams, geologists, reservoir and service company personnel to ensure an efficient operation.

I am interested in technical and engineering work, willing to contribute and adhere to the safety requirements of the operation, able to identify, analyze and solve problems, able to work without supervision and able to accept responsibility. Also, I am adept at working in a diverse team and in problem solving drilling scenarios and I am able to work under pressure. I speak two languages: English and Spanish.
