Qualified Roads & Airfields Civil Engineer with 13 years Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas HSE experience, including managing the HSE aspects of a remote Gas Plant and its associated pipeline interfaces during the Construction, Commissioning and Operations phases. Proven experience in the field, office, factory, rail head and port construction yard implementation of HSSE matters. Experienced in managing the HSE for onshore geophysical, geotechnical and geosurvey projects and offshore on Dredging vessels and Drilling barges at sea, including vessel HSE Pre Mobilisation Inspections. In date HUET, Sea Survival and Medical (Offshore) certificate, in date H2S gas certificate. Working knowledge of Near shore & Offshore Diving activities, previously trained as a HLO. Highly proficient in managing and controlling office and field based Oil Spill Response and Emergency Response teams with the ability to react quickly and calmly in high pressure situations and combine analytical thinking to command and control logical responses. Experienced in managing Contractor HSE teams and Company HSE direct reports of multi cultural origins on project areas where English is not the first language.
