Petroleum Exploration Expert - Chief Geophysicist

Carry over Seismic interpretations for prospect generation and field development through applying different techniques, such as structural, Attribute analysis, and seismic sequence stratigraphy

•Interpretation of seismic data (2D),(3D)by using Geoframe (Charisma) software, (IESX) and landmark software's installed in sun workstation & by using P.C. Softwars (kingdom, Petrel and GeoGraphix) and also by paper prints and mapping at the sub-regional to prospect scale (depth – time - velocity) in order to identify areas of maximum impact and produce high-quality maps for acreage assessment and for new drilling opportunities in proven oil and gas areas.
•Constructing different types of sub –surface seismic modeling by 3-D Seismic Visualization Interpretation using all software’s mention above.
•Generate new prospects and evaluate risk and volume for drill-site maturation including operational support in the planning and execution of drilling the prospect.
•Participate in data room visits and generate quick turn-around evaluations of prospectively giving technical recommendations for participation in new ventures or acreage extension opportunities beyond the existing license areas.
•Provide recommendations for new seismic purchases, acquisition areas, processing projects, and liaising with technical experts in the corporate office providing various geophysical supports for acquisition, processing, and quantitative geophysical interpretation.
•New Venture data integration from scouting, data rooms, and local knowledge
•Work within tight deadlines and shifting priorities in order to maximize results and winning new acreage positions.
•Experience working structurally complex, poor data quality areas
•Ability to generate and interpret seismic attributes with experience in AVO for evaluations & Coordinate/Conduct integration of work effort/studies on attribute analysis for input to the reservoir characterization modelling.
•Witnessing on seismic 2D, 3D data processing.
•Witnessing on all types of well velocity surveys.
•Build velocity and time-depth models for development area and field.
•Integrate work with reservoir studies and well operations teams to ensure development well targets are prepared and ready for drilling.
•Take Technical lead, mentoring and Peer Assist role for other geophysicists or JV geophysical developed staff assigned to the project.

I am Dr. Mohammad Mohey, PhD, MSc, BSc, I am a Senior Geophysicist with 20 years of extensive experience in the Oil & Gas both Exploration and Development. My expertise covers Seismic Acquisition, Seismic Data Processing and Seismic Interpretation of marine and land data, AVO Processing, Seismic Inversion, seismic Attributes and Seismic Velocities. Specifically,
I have an experience in seismic and well-log data scanning, 3D surveying, 3D Velocity Model, special 3D processing, well velocity survey data, and interval velocity map, structural contour 2D &3D maps. I am currently the Geophysics Manager of ICG wherein he is responsible for all geophysical aspects as well as other exploration activities
