• Field Operations:
(i) Supervising the technicians in the production area.
(ii) Supervising and control the trouble-shooting in the production area.
Responsible for: EDC vaporizer, furnace, quench column, and quench column tar still.
• Job description and responsibilities:
(iii) Physical check of rotary and static equipment on periodical manner for its performance/abnormality and take correct actions.
(iv) Frequent check tour in functional area and taking proper actions for smooth functioning of the plant.
(v) Checking rupture discs regularly and logging the health in RD checklist.
(vi) Ensure the readiness of standby Reboilers, pumps, filters etc.
(vii) Visual inspection of cracker coils and burners flame pattern from peephole and reporting abnormality, if any.
(viii) Monitoring furnace draft and logging the readings for the same.
