Incharge of all Accounting & Financial matters of the whole group which consist of abot 13 companies worldwide.
Professional Experience
1) Accounts Payable
- Checking and verifying on all payments prepared;
- Checking on creditors reconciliation;
- Dealing with vendors on payments;
- Replying letters of demand from lawyers after consulting;
- Dealing with Legal matters in accounting department;
- Checking on bank reconciliation;
2) Accounts Receivable
- Checking and verifying on all invoice/credit note and supporting documents before forwarding to clients;
- Liaising with operation for all supporting documents needed for invoicing;
- Liaising closely with clients with bad payment;
- Verifying on the SOA;
- Liaising with clients for any dispute on certain issue arises from our invoices;
- Monitoring on debts collections;
3) Payroll
- Checking & verifying all salaries before proceeding for cheque preparation;
- Dealing with queries from the crew;
- Deal with crewing agent for salary transfers;
4) Others
- Preparing report for management on funding and expenses on a month to month as well as forecast which need to liaise closely;
- Liaising closely with banks on queries and any other documentation needed by them time to time basis;
- Preparing company documentation (ie directors resolutions, correspondence, forms from banks or other government department, etc);
- Liaising with auditors and assisting them during audit closely;
- Assisting Bandar office on application of new bank facilities;
- Plan and strategize on the tight cash flow on a weekly basis;
- Reconciling whole Amarco inter-company;
- Preparing priority cash flow on monthly basis but update accordingly on weekly;
- Reconciling the whole group’s inter-co;
- Training and assisting Singapore & Malaysia office on MYOB usage and the transactions which need to entered;
- Verifying and monitoring Malaysia companies accounts;
- Liaise directly with auditors, company secretary and tax consultant;
- Issuing all inter-company agreement and comply to government regulation for the whole Group;
- Aligned all tax issue in companies;
- Recalculate company tax in Brunei and doing the necessary adjustment by liaising with tax consultant;
- Updating cash flow forecast;
- Planning strictly on the spending and allocation of funds with the difficulty which the company is facing now;
- Sourcing and planning with Bandar office to restructure and applying for facility from the banks;
