• Millennium Villages Project (UNDP)
i. Assisted in the writing of project proposal on settlement erosion control in some rural communities within the Project
ii. Assisted in developing training modules and in training of community leaders on settlement erosion
iii. Assisted in designing irrigation schemes for rice production for some selected villages within Amansie West District in Ashanti region.
• CSIR-SRI/Kinki University Joint Study Project
i. Assessed runoff and nutrient transfer from upper catchment to “sawah” fields
ii. Assisted collecting soil and water samples for water quality analysis
iii. Assisted in supervising the construction of canals for water conveyance to irrigation fields to sawah rice fields.
• Other Work Accomplished
i. Collected field data on hydrological and soil moisture characteristics for improving irrigation systems within Ashanti region
ii. Assisted in designing water management applications for sustainable use in irrigated agriculture
iii. Used historical hydrological data to calibrate erosion models
iv. Assisted research scientists in writing reports
v. Prepared presentations for research scientists
vi. Reviewed literature in irrigation and water engineering, agro-hydrological modeling, climate change impact assessment
vii. Wrote research proposals and technical reports.

• Supervised the construction of terraces and bunds on farmlands
• Provided technical assistance on soil conservation measures for rubber production
• Trained local farmers on flood and erosion control techniques to improve rubber production
