My goal is to advance my skills by gaining a wide spectrum of experience in different fields of expertise so that I can use that experience to promote my natural leadership qualities in the near future and beyond.

Live observing of OBC offshore seismic surveying for the clients: BP Amoco, Statoil, ExxonMobil, Shell and Total. Started in 2008 as a trainee technician and two months later I was upgraded to technician with assignments as: equipment configuration, repair, monitoring and service, deployment and recovering equipment, observing the live OBC, quality control check and reporting to the onboard client. Also a good knowledge of: Linux, offshore navigation, hands-on-problem solving, Offshore HSE, Radios/Radio-waves, Seismology and the procedures/specifications for the job.

Took a year of from university to work as Field engineer/operator monitor/repairing product on oil-rigs and reporting back to the office and for new products the head office also maintaining, servicing, mobilizing, demobilizing operating and completing reparations when necessary. Mostly working on PLC controlled centrifuge (CD600HY fully automated hydraulic centrifuge). Working on different rigs in a curtain area and several different company products depending on the job.

I started my BS in 2003 and complimented it over a 5 year period with practical work experience in different areas in an attempt to combine my education with practical examples of what I was learning. The curriculum provided room for good theoretical knowledge in the following areas: micro processes, Computer simulations, CAD, Computer Aided Manufactories, Computer Aided Robotics, industrial programming, industrial economics, robot technology and logistics. In order to compliment this theoretical knowledge with practical “know how” I have complimented this with practical application in the various jobs that I have undertaken.

I hold dual citizenships, one is Omani and the other is Swedish, which makes me eligible to work both in the Middle East and the EU (European Union). I have been a resident in Stockholm Sweden for the past 30 some years, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in automation engineering from the University of Skövde in Sweden where I graduated the year 2008.

as a professional, my strengths/weaknesses my drive and my competence was tested, and that’s why I took on these jobs, to test myself and since these environments where very extreme and stressful, i now feel ready for anything.
