Professional Experience
Currently the Vice President Business Development for AMEC’s Australia & South East Asia region with a direct staff of 20 employees located in Jakarta, Kula Lumpur, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane. Key responsibility is to grow the oil & gas division from 20 employees to 3000 by 2015 through acquisition, strategic relationships and organically through order book growth. Current employment has grown to 1200 in 2 years.
In previous position at Clough was responsible for Clough’s entire BD effort in Australia and SEA with 9 regionally located BD Managers and an order book that has grown from A$600m in 2007 to A$1.6 billion in 2009.
The growth of the business has been through the development and implementation of major project specific capture plans and business stream based strategies and plans to grow the current business streams SURF, offshore and onshore EPIC/EPCM and to enter and create revenues in new business areas such as Coal Seam Gas, MiniLNG and onshore midstream hydrocarbon processing.
I have contacts with the majority of Australia and Asia’s major oil & gas producers, major contractors, competitors and senior government bodies. These contacts were maintained through extensive networking.
