Job and Responsibilities

• Presently heading the General Ledger & Inventory Team geographically located at Europe & Middle East having operations in Rotterdam, Belgium & Dubai

• Heading team size of 15 member

• Managing the team with proper work of allocation

• Operationally reporting to Sr. Project Manager & functionally reporting to front office Controller.

• Accountable for end to end accounting process

• Responsible for delivering the Monthly Financials as per IFRS compliance

• Accountable for consolidation of Financial statement for Europe location

• Presentation of Financials performance highlights & other management reports to front office controllers

• Implementing the standardization in reporting

• Monthly signing off the intercompany Balances & Transactions

• Analyzing the Aging of Receivables / Payables & General Ledgers to netting out the balances between the group companies

• Responsible in delivering the weekly forecasting and analyzing the Financials figures with month end forecast

• Liaison with audit team for Quarterly / Yearly Performance Report for SGX compliance

• Preparing the Financial Reports along with Notes etc., as per IFRS compliance

• Signing off the User Acceptance Test (UAT) towards enhancement in system application

Achievements:

• Took over the additional responsibilities to handle the end to end accounting function for USA ports having team size of 12 member

• Deputed to one of our associate GPS Chemoil having its oil storage facilities at Port of Fujairah to streamline the accounting process and management reports

• Deputed to Singapore (HQ) for statutory audit assignment in 2005

• Deputed to Istanbul location to handle the front office accounting process in 2003
