HSE and Project Management Support

Effectively manage Health and safety through out the life cycle of a project; starting from planning,contracting and execution.

HSE Support:
• Review HSE plans submitted by vendors at bid/tender stage of contracting
• Responsible for generating Contract Risk Assessment, HSE bridging documents in line with SPDC safety procedures.
• Involved in scheduling vendor base/office visit to ensure HSE compliance
• Accountable for scheduling contractor personnel and equipment pre-mobilization checks and certificates issued according to Shell standards before the equipments are put to use.
• Responsible for documenting HSE site records which includes medical fitness certificates (from retainership clinics), HSE plans, HSE policies, HSE campaigns
• Schedule and follow-up contractor representatives for SPDC competence trainings
• Participate in generating work specific Method Statement, Job Hazard Analysis and ensure site personnel understand the hazards, barriers/controls in place and recovery measures for every task .
• In charge of generating Permit To Work and complimentary certificates for job task at site.
• Organise and participate in campaigns for HSE Awareness e.g. SPDC Safety Day , Work at Height, Dropped Object Management etc
• Responsible for collating man-hour, UA, UC, NM.
• Responsible for sending HSE weekly, monthly highlights to SPDC HSE Lead Infrastructure & Logistics Services.
• Ensure that activities performed on site and in the project perimeter fulfill approved project/Shell HSE requirements so as to manage operational risks and prevent harm to personnel, environment and equipments.

Project Management Support:
• Involved in vendor tendering process
• Participate in generating Project Work Scope
• Involved in developing contract BOQ and cost allocation.
• Involved in developing contract requisition for various contracts.
• Involved in the preparation of material procurement schedule for the project.
• Participated in contractor office/warehouse visit to confirm material samples availability
• Responsible for scheduling and following up material testing between suppliers and Shell QA/QC laboratory.
• Follow up with vendors on material supply for project and ensuring that random testing of delivered materials are carried out
• Responsible for organizing logistics services required for the project.
