o Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer [July 2003 ~ to date]
Chashma Nuclear Power Plant-1, Kundian, Pakistan.
Maintenance
o DCS (SUPMAX 800) based Electro-Hydraulic system (DEH) for Three Cylinder 325MWe Turbine, Shanghai Turbine Company, Model # HN325-5.34); Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (TSI) (Nevada Bentley) regulating/controlling, four Governor Valves (GVs), two Main Stop Valves (MSV); and four Reheat Stop Valves , four Main Intercept Valves for Moisture Separator and Re-heater.
o All other instrumentation of Turbine Auxiliaries including Moisture Separator and Re-heater system, Steam Water system of De-Aerator and its Pressure and Level Control system, Steam Dump system, Turbine Steam Extraction System, Turbine Lubrication system, Condensate Vacuum System, Electro Hydraulic Oil circuit, Lubrication oil circuit etc.
o Hydraulic ON/OFF two Main Steam Isolation valve(MSIV),two main Feed Water Isolation Valve(MFIV) and Pneumatic Regulating Main and By-pass Feed Water Valves, Emergency Steam relief valves; including related instrumentation of above vales i.e. Solenoids (ASCO), I/P converter, Booster Relay, Pressure Switches (United Electrical UE, UEDA), Flow switches(SOR) etc.
o Steam Generator and Pressurizer Level and Pressure control loops; logic and Algorithms for the safely Plant shut down.
o DCS (SUPMAX 800) based Main and Auxiliary Control room Instrumentation (I/Os, Engineering Operating Work-Station, Protocols, Marshaling Cabinets, Power supply, Connectors, Data Highway etc.)
o DCS (SUPCON) based HVAC system of the Plant including Air Handling Units, Motorized regulating valves (Bernard, Rotork etc.) and Air Dampers (Fire Damper, on/off Dampers, Regulating Damper) for air Flow Regulation, Air Control Units, Fire and Smoke system of the Plant etc.
o Maintenance of Chiller's Instrumentation; Compression type four (Two-stage Lithium Bromide) and two Absorption Type (LG Korea) Chillers.
o Maintenance of Air-compressors/Emergency Compressors and Boiler Related Instrumentation; three element Boiler Pressure and Level control system.
