Materials Control Specialist, Supervisor

Fluor Dubai LOGCAP Project is basically supports the HUBS Site Afghanistan in procuring materials which includes staging of materials and distribution to Regional Distribution Center Afghanistan. My duties and responsibilities are supervision of warehouse operation including material handling, receiving activities, US Government Property Tagging/Assets, scanning/bar coding of materials and article checking at the FGG Dubai Distribution Center, oversee the data processing of IMR (Interim Material Report) in MatMan to ensure all barcode scanners are loaded and processed in Fluor Database. Maintain OS&D log and responsible for processing of OS&D in MatMan, prepares and provides OS&D report and submitted on weekly basis to the expediters and Department Managers Procurement, Expediting, & Logistics. Responsible for RFID tagging of Air and Land/Sea shipments to track movements of cargo in transit going out from Dubai Distribution Center to site Regional Distribution Center Theater Afghanistan. Performed and processed Dubai Materials Requisitions using Maximo database which includes searching of item codes and maintain Dubai MRF log. Responsible for preparation of documents and arrangement of shipments to Al Dhafra at Abu Dhabi US Air Base for Dubai Military Air Program. Monitors and maintained Hot Air Purchase Order log for urgent air shipments and advised Freight Forwarder to proceed with the shipment. Check and verifies daily receipts in MatM rectify errors and MatMan issues. Communicates with expediting department for OS&D issues and pending orders and advised material control for disposition. Assess document filling to ensure compliance to US Government Document Policies. Performed weekly inventory in-site and off-site facility to ensure packages in FDDC are not stored over 21 days for Ocean Shipments and 7 days for air shipments.
