Now I am working as UREA DCS Supervisor and my responsibilities are as fallows

• To assist shift in charge during shift regarding DCS plant control.
• To instruct field operators time to time about their section during normal and emergency.
• To keep the plant running safe and smooth.
• To handle trouble shoot and technical problems that occurs during normal operations.

INTRODUCTION

Pak American Fertilizers Ltd. Iskanderabad is one of the pioneers Fertilizer units of AZGARD-9 Group of industries. Initially in this unit Ammonium Sulphate was produced. Later on it started a Modernization & Expansion Project of 600/1050 MTPD Ammonia/Urea (A Project of M/S TOYO Engineering Corporation of Japan), the Kellogg/ ACES process having latest total Distributed Control System
(TDCS 3000-X) which contains APM for high level calculation & advanced control strategies, LM for Interlocking. HM for system data storage, process history. Graphics display and Configuration information. The plant is also equipped with
Hi-Tech centrifugal compressors with latest programmed electronic Governing control system for Extraction/ Condensing Turbines with complete interlocking for safe operation.
