• I hold experience on different type of tankers. Since last 12 years, I have sailed on different types and size of tankers which includes - Product, Aframax, VLCC, chemical and veg oil tankers etc. Have undertaken all cargo operations safely and without any delays. Have carried out crude oil washing, gas freeing, dry dock preparations, inspection of cargo and ballast tanks, and preparation of reports. Have loaded from SBMS, FSO’S. Preparation of loading and discharging plans and have even carried out loading and discharging operations every second day during my tenure as chief officer. I was in charge for training of the crew for the safe procedures to be followed on tanker. I was always appreciated for my professionalism and dedication to the job during my career. • I have a fairly good knowledge of national maritime legislation. Having served for 12 years in shipping industry and visited various international ports. I am a serving master and hence, possess good knowledge of shipping safety, maritime security, ISPS code and port operations, I have good knowledge of international maritime conventions as well as local maritime legislation.


• On vessels, I conducted safety meetings and prepared reports, check lists ,risk assessments for various operations.


• I am quite fast in solving the problems. In day to day operation of vessel, I encountered various problems which I successfully dealt with. I am fast in analyzing the problem and always think ahead. It is instilled in me from my training time that clear and concise instructions are to be given to avoid any ambiguity. Therefore, I fully implement this approach of providing clear, concise and thorough orders. During my sea career of 12 years I sailed with different nationalities and solved many of their professional and personnel problems.

• Valid General Radio Operator license (unlimited), issued by ministry of communication, India.
• Being a serving mariner, possessing comprehensive knowledge of all latest/ international regulations including
