Executive Engineer(Civil)

To plan and executive the works, make an optimum utilization of resources, (worth few million dollars), timely review of agency’s work.

Current Projects:

• Coal Handling Plant: Managing and executing Pipe conveyor (Asia’s second longest pipe conveyor)-4.5k.m and belt conveyor’s structural and civil works. This project costs $80 Millions. Five hundred workmen and forty executives report to me for the civil and structural work.
• Managing a fifty number team for the execution of Road network of 15KM.

Earlier Projects:

• Managed 7-Person Team in Execution of the Unit III Main Plant foundation works and developed strategic planning process and executed Boiler, Chimney, ESP, and Turbo Generator civil works of 500MW (unit III of NTPC and Tamilnadu Energy Company Ltd-Chennai) whose estimated cost is $36.7 Million and achieved the milestone three months ahead of a schedule.
• Executed Turbo Generator Raft and Turbo Generator Deck of Unit II (500MW)-Major Mile stone in a Power Plant Project.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Managed several national and international contractors such as FLSmidth Pvt Ltd,BHEL ltd,Larsen & Toubro Ltd,Gammon India Ltd, Ion Exchange (India Ltd), Simplex Infrastructures Pvt Ltd, Zap Piling Pte Ltd, The Indure Pvt Ltd, for activities related to Execution of Boiler Erection ,Chimney, Electrostatic Precipitator, Power House building ,Chlorination and Desalination Plant .
• Dealt with different departments (Contracts and Materials, Planning and Systems, Quality Control, Mechanical, Electrical, Finance and HR).
• Prepared and issued Running Account Bill of the Unit I and II (1000MW) Main Plants Civil works, estimated cost is $58.2 Millions.
• Modified designs relating to Unit I and II Main Plant Civil Works in association with Engineering Office Complex, Noida and these modifications helped the execution of Bottom Ash Hopper which is very essential for Boiler light up, a Major mile stone in Power Plant Execution.
• Organized a Safety Audit and prepared a report on the safety aspects that are to be taken up in the Industry.
• Led a four member team to update the latest developments that take place in Civil Engineering Project works and submitted a report to implement in NTPC Ltd.
