Associated with the company as Area Assistant Engr. from December 2008 to July 2010. On EDC VCM plant, (Cracking of EDC).
Ethylene Di Chloride (EDC) and Vinyle Chloride Monomer (VCM) is 1st largest Petrochemical Complex in Pakistan. I join EPCL in commissioning phase, I got exposed to various tools/techniques & procedures for effective commissioning.
Responsibilities during commissioning
Follow standard safety procedure work order and work permit policies
Punch listing, Hydro test pressure, flushing, blowing, leak test, O2 free etc
Refractory dry out of the horizontal furnace and its pre start up, start up and its normal shutdown.
Dry out the HCL, VCL, HED,VACUME, LIGHT columns And quench tower from moisture & its star up
Startup of the fourth stage centrifugal compressor
Loading the catalyst copper chloride on oxy reactor & ferric chloride loaded on direct chlorination reactor.
3.Attock Refinery Limited Rawalpindi.
Associated with the company as Field Operator from July 2005 to December 2008.
Plate forming (Reformer) Unit. Designed by Mitsui Engineering Company on the Technology of Union of Petroleum (UOP), USA.
The unit having capacity of 5000 barrels/day is able to get 90 RONC PMG.
Distributed Control System of HONEYWELL operates the unit.
Platinum and Rhenium catalyst (R-56) is used in Reformer reactor.
Cobalt Molybdenum catalyst (S-12) is used in Hydro reactor.
Compressor “single stage double acting reciprocating”
Furnace “vertical cylindrical natural draft”

B-Tech Pass (CHEMICAL), with 3.15 CGPA from Indus Institute of Higher Education Karachi Pakistan.
