HSE management

• Initiate the Environmental Impact Assessment /Risk Assessment for new projects by assigning the jobs to reputed agencies and review the document to meet the requirement of the project.
• Initiate the procedures to get the various clearances / Permissions (Environmental Clearance / Permission from Pollution Control Board – Consent for Establishment / Consent for Operation)
• Giving presentation to MoEF/ SPCB etc for obtaining EC , NOC ,CCA respectively.
• Responsible for Environment Management – Environment Monitoring/Waste Management at all Onshore/Offshore sites.
• HSE Audit / Inspection – HSE Audit / inspections for offshore drilling & onshore drilling rigs as per the guidelines of Director General of Hydrocarbon, OISD etc.
• Set up the company wide targets of the HSE group and follow up for the achievement of the targets by carrying out internal audit and inspection.
• Monitoring Company’s & Contractors HSE performance report.
• Preparation of new procedure / review of existing procedure and revise the procedure / document ( Emergency Response Plan, Oil Spill Contingency Plan, HSE management System, Environment Management System) as per the current requirement to meet the HSE standards.
• Coordinate with the service companies for HSE related issues and to conduct regular HSE meetings to review the HSE targets.
• Investigation of accident/incident & reporting to regulatory autorities.
• Providing HSE trainings like First Aid, Ergonomics, and Environment Management to the crew under Mines Vocational Training.
• Conducted more than 4 Pubic hearings in Gujarat & Andhra Pradesh.
• Coordinating with various authorities like Offshore Defence Advisory group, Coast Guard, OISD, DGH, MOEF, SPCB etc.
