• Led and met the targets for documents set as condition precedents by lenders ( AFBD, IFC, FMO, OPIC...) to obtain Environmental and Social Documents for the financial closing, and subsequent disbursements reducing considerable cost that was initially planned to be spent on this by my employer. These among others included the unaided developments of:
o The HIV/AIDS framework
o The Contractors Human resource policies (since they were un able to provide in time)
o The Construction Health and Safety Plans including the emergency plans
o The waste Management
o The Community development framework and draft of the implementations plan
o Delivering part of the supplementary compensation plan and made relevant authorities signed a developed Memorandum of understanding (Innovative)
o Organised and let communication meetings on the fisheries cooperatives
o Collection of the fishery base line
o Upgraded the social compensation plan
o Social baseline survey and subsequent report
o Lake monitoring plan (draft)
o Grievance Management mechanism
o The security Protocol with the government for the project
• Conducted the HSE Compliance audit for the construction of the Barge (Marine construction)
• Proposed a corrective action plan and moved contractor to implement this
• Assistance to contractor in the development of standard construction HSE procedures
• Input to the company web based Safety reporting portal (Intelex) and the follow up of contractor activities for the project.
• Wrote the HSE and Environment Sustainability lesson learn register for the project and the outline for the EHSSP Kick Off Meetings
• Drafted the Process Safety and Risk Management framework for the extraction phase of the project
• Setting of monthly HSE targets
• Assessment and provision of Quantitative analysis of EHSSP to Country Manager and vice president in charge of business development
• Prepared and led the Conference Calls updating senior management on the progress of meeting conditions precedents (Internal) and reports to the lenders (external) leading to the financial closings.

Achievements
• Without prior notice conducted an integrated HSE audit for the Gas extraction project and construction of Barges and proposed a corrective action plan that was appreciated by the Senior Management Committee
• Without prior notice, worked at the production of over 08 Environmental and Social documents set as Conditions precedents by lenders for financial closing and succeeded to close financing on the proposed date
• Introduced a safe work practice during the construction of the largest cement crushers for Lafarge in Cameroon that was circulated in the group in 2002
• Made my employer to save over 100 000 GBP from consultancy services
• Part of the HSE tasks force of AES where I got the internal Integrated HSE auditors training
• Participated in the Integrated HSE audits for the following businesses
o Bulgaria: MARITZA EAST-1 TPP and WDF Projects
o Turkey: Damlapinar HPP and Kepezkaya HPP Construction Projects
o Nigeria: Ebute 294 MW power plant AES Ebute is a natural gas-fired generation plant
• Conducted several compliance audits in the process of getting EPC contractors to the approved vendor list notably Wärtsilä Central Africa and Siemens T&D Cameroon
