• Scope includes all pipeline works including related civil, electrical, mechanical and instrumentation works.
Barmer – Salaya pipeline Project (24 “ Pipeline for Crude Oil line with 1” pipe line for SEHMS to maintain operational temp. and 8 “ Gas Pipeline for Heat Generation With Three Terminals and Thirty Eight Above Ground Installations). Location: Storage Terminal at Viramgam near Ahmedabad. (Contractor: Indian Oil tanking Ltd).

Field Inspection and Expediting of Pipe Line & Piping Construction Activities.
• Inspection of NDT (Radiography, DPT & UT).
• Preparing & Reviewing the Inspection and Progress reports.

KEY SKILLS
Inspection of welding, film interpretation, knowledge of each and every activity of pipe line, a good knowledge of piping and isometric drawing, documentation of QA/QC department.

• Day to day pipe book and tie in chart preparation with proper documentation.
• Receiving and reviewing of all reports related to QC.

• Reviewing of WPS, PQR, WPQ and Quality Procedures for project.
• NDT Interpretation (RT, UT, MPT, LPT), visual inspection.
• Monitor performance of welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and promote corrective action where necessary.
• Coordinate for post weld heat treatment of welds, monitor the heating rate, soaking time and cooling rate during heat treatment.
• Auto, semi-auto and manual welding. (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW & SAW)
• Main line welding, tie in, free tie in and golden Tie in.
• Surface preparation, Primer Painting, Coating, Holiday Detection and Peel off test.
• Cold field bending of pipe.
• Reviewing of Welding parameters.
• Pipe book clearance.
• Review of MTC, IMIR, Calibration Certificate, Job procedures and Inspection report.
