End of January 2012 I left Maersk Drilling after having spent 23 years in the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group (including Maersk Drilling).

The years have been full of excitement and I have been blessed with achieving a great insight into the marine and oil & gas industries. In particular my work with Maersk Drilling in Houston, China, Aberdeen and Copenhagen has given me a tremendous market insight, strong commercial mindset and great customer relationship management skills. Further I have been extremely fortunate to work together with some of the best and most skilled colleagues in the industry and thereby obtained a solid contractual and legal foundation, understanding and experience in contract negotiation and administration.

Since 2009 I have been commercially responsible for Maersk Drilling's Deepwater- and Mid-water asset team(s). Together with enthusiastic, skilled and experienced colleagues across the organization I believe Maersk Drilling have overcome many challenges within this segment and have secured second to none contract coverage, mitigated significant claims, obtained high uptimes for our rig operations and profitable returns and secured a safe working environment. I feel proud having been part of this team.

In addition to the day-to-day work I have since 2006 been instrumental in the investment of 6 jack-ups, 6 drilling barges, 4 ultra deepwater drillships and divestment of 3 jack-ups. My business development capabilities and strong entrepreneurship skills have been very supportive in this process.

As a consequence of the work well done I was in 2007, 2008 and 2010 continuously promoted internally in Maersk Drilling up to the current rank of senior director.

Since 2007 I have traveled in excess of 100 days per year.

My devotion, enthusiasm and commitment to be engaged and work on exciting and interesting projects remain unchanged.
