•I have worked on a petro chemical project for a main contractor, Penta Ocean and a Shell JV at Shell Houdini Project/ECC Project, Pulu Ular, Singapore. Based on site for 10 months I prepared an extension of time and loss and expense claim and also a final account. In the UK I worked on a final account for an oil refinery in the USA.

•Knowledge and experience of a full range of quantity surveying and cost management applications, pre and post contract.

•Post contract final account agreement, cost control, claims preparation, negotiation & settlement of contractual claims

•Degree Equivalent Diploma with Credit in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University (1976 – 1980)

I have a wide experience of international contracts including the General Conditions of Contract , Qatar Public Works contract and various international contracts such as FIDIC, red & yellow books etc.

a)Review of contracts including FIDIC, JTC, SIA & BCA and giving contractual ‘risk’ assessments to Management for contracts in Singapore, Philippines, China and Malaysia.
b)Review, preparation and assessment of Joint Ventures, Partnership, Non-Disclosure, Maintenance and Financial Agreements for Management.
c)Preparation of all contractual related matters relating to company projects. This involves writing contractual letters, preparation of delay notifications and submission of claims for extension of time and loss and expense and also some business development.
d)Liaison with legal, financial and technical advisors to negotiate contracts.
e)Preparation of final accounts, variations and applications for payment.
