Additional Roles and Achievements
Undergraduate and New Starter Mentoring – Mentored undergraduate placement students and also new graduate recruits. This involved supporting their integration into the business, regular mentoring sessions to support ongoing personal development and how to maximize their individual development plans.
Systems Engineering Taster Week - Organised and ran the first Systems Engineering Taster week at BAE Systems Brough site for 16-18 year olds. The role involved managing the entire end-to-end process; including designing and delivering lessons on basic engineering principles, supervising the students and co-ordination of the actual event. I have been involved with the taster week for four years, a key part of this role is coaching and developing apprentice engineers to run future events. Feedback from schools and students alike has been extremely positive.
