Static Equipment Maintenance Engineer

Maintnance of static eq. in refineries includes CM/PM/Shutdowns

„« 02/2009 Till now at Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) in (MIDOR) site as maintenance engineer for Static Petroleum equipment.

o Towers (washing towers) , remove all types of trays (bubble cap, valve, sieve, trays).
o Heat exchangers with its all types Shell and tube, Plate & Compact (fixed tube, floating head, u-tube, and kettle....etc.)
o Loading and unloading catalyst according to the safety material data sheet for many types of Reactors and vessels.
o Pressure vessel (vertical, horizontal)
o Maintenance of valves (Gate, Globe, check, Ball, Butterfly, Plug valves).
o Maintenance of pressure relief system (PSV & TSV) (pressure safety valve, breathing valve,...etc.)
o Pipeline fabrication & construction with its all components and all types of fitting (elbow, reducer, flanges, gaskets...etc.).
o Fair knowledge to maintain pumps.
o Responsible for the development the preventive & routine maintenance schedules, ensuring that all maintenance is carried out during planned shutdown and that all standby units are fully operational.
o Supervises the activities of assigned technicians in mechanical maintenance unit according to company maintenance procedures and scheduled ensuring that work objectives and programs are implemented.
o Attended several Units shutdowns In Refinery (CCR UNIT, KEROSENE MEROX UNIT, DISTILATE HYDROTREATER, SULPHUR PLANT , AMINE REGENERATION UNIT )
o Dealed With (SOUR WATER STRIPPER , SPENT CAUSTIC TREATMENT , STORAGE & HANDLING , PRODUCT DISPATCH , WASTE WATER TREATMENT(DAF-API) , Catalytic Reforming) Units
o Following up Lean amine regeneration unit shutdown: (Heat exchangers, pressure vessels, towers, Reboilers...etc.).
o Following up sulphur recovery unit shutdown (Heat exchangers, pressure vessels, towers, waste heat boilers, condensers....etc.).
