Currently working as a ¡¥Trainee in the drilling and completions¡¦ department at Adani Welspun Exploration Limited.

Position of Responsibility: - Currently I am working on offshore drilling project as AWEL is drilling an offshore vertical exploratory well through jack up rig at Mumbai offshore with the contract of aban offshore. As a trainee my job is:-

„« To keep updating my knowledge on all drilling operations.
„« To understand and prepare Daily drilling reports.
„« On the basis of invoice records of all the contractors with AWEL, have to prepare comparison report on monthly basis and submit it to drilling engineer.
„« Have to update the record of AWEL and ABAN personnal¡¦s on board who are working on offshore rig.
„« To Study and understand Well cost reports.
„« On the basis of daily drilling progress, have to attend daily meetings and submit minutes of meeting report either to a drilling engineer or to the head of drilling.
„« To get thorough knowledge of other reports like Rig report, mud reports, Material report which are involved equally on this project.

„« To get training on how to assisting mobilization and demobilization of rig personnal and equipment.

„Ã B.Tech. (Petroleum Engineering) with strong exposure to subjects such as ¡VDrilling Technology (Vertical drilling, Directional Drilling), Well Planning, Well Control, Sperry Drilling, MWD, LWD etc.
„Ã Possesses in depth knowledge about Logging (LWD & MWD, Open Hole, Cased Hole,), Drilling Operations, Well Log Interpretation, and Formation Evaluation and their methods.
„Ã Gained strong exposure Process Safety, Health & Safety Standards and Hazard Analysis.
„à Attended 3 weeks¡¦ internship in University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S.A as a part of International Exposure Programme 2010 organized by the university.
„à Undertaken project on ¡¥Formation Evaluation'; completed industrial orientation from ONGC Mehsana & Vadodara, Torrent Power Plant, GACL, Gujarat Gas, Shell Hazira, Petronet LNG Dahej, GNFC Bharuch, IFFCO, IOCL Koyali in May¡¦09.

„à Completed Rural Internship in Kutch; visited the rural areas in and around Kutch to get an exposure to the rural India and the living conditions of the villagers to experience corporate thought ¡§To Lead India We need to feel India¡¨.

„à Attended 5-day¡¦s Industrial Visit at Shell LNG Terminal, Hazira, GSPC-NIKO, GSPL Plant at Hazira, GSPC Drilling site, Dholka and Sanand, Ahmedabad in Sep¡¦07.

„Ã Successfully completed following industrial trainings:

- Gas Processing Plant ONGC, Hazira on the production of sweetened gas through H-B-J Pipelines.
- Well Logging Services ONGC, Ahmedabad on studies of various Wireline Logs with principles and their applications including field visit on Through Tubing Perforation.

Project Title: Formation Evaluation and Petroleum System Assessment from Matanomadh Formation Kutch Basin.
Period: 06-2010 ¡V 06-2011
Details: The project dealt with the process of covering methods used, logging tools including their roles and application in it; Quantitative and Qualitative analysis of Clean and Shaly sand formation with calculations and cross-plots used in it. Implemented theoretical knowledge into practical by doing petroleum system assessment from Matanomadh formation Kutch Gujarat and also done some innovative petro-physical parameters calculation from the samples collected from that formation without referring any raw data from an industry under the guidance and mentoring of Prof. Vinay Babu.
