Project Title: Laboratory Investigation and Simulation of In-Situ Combustion Process Based on Parametric Study
Responsibilities:
•The objective of the project is to ascertain the combustion parameters of air injection followed by water injection.

•Pre combustion analysis of the target reservoir oil and water of cambay basin were carried out to establish the base line parameters to proceed further for In-Situ Combustion (ISC) tube experiment.
•In-Situ wet combustion tube test was performed to investigate the effect of wet combustion on produced oil and w a t e r.
•The essence of the project is to carry parametric study for in-situ combustion parameters like Air Requirement, Fuel Requirement and Volume of Core Swept to see the effect before and after water injection, and validate experiment result with CMG STARS.
•HSE measures were taken in account for the detection of H2S gas at the laboratory level will provide the extra safety to be taken at the field scale.
Key Learnings:
Laboratory analysis of ISC, CMG, Documentation of project report, Operating of equipments like Soxhlet, PDSC, TGA, Combustion Tube Setup and Safety measures.

Project Title: Technical Screening of Surfactants for Surfactant Flooding
Responsibilities:

•Screening of commercially available surfactants.

•Preparation of different concentration samples of surfactants.

•Determining Interfacial Tension (IFT) by using Drop Shape Analysis System (DSA100).
Key Learnings:
Documentation of laboratory report, Graphical representation of results in MS Office Excel and Operating of equipments like DSA100 and Anton Paar.
