• Working as Shift Superintendent in Hydrotreater unit Diesel Hydrotreater (100 KBPSD) VGO Hydrotreater (104.5 KBPSD).
• Worked as Shift Engineer in FCC Unit.
• Safe start up and shut down of the unit.
• Smooth operation of unit within standard operating conditions and ensuring SOPs are followed for each activity.
• Trouble shooting during any upset in normal operation.
• Took independent responsibility for both VGO and Diesel Hydrotreaters as panel officer.
• Preparation of standard operating procedures.
• Review of PFDs and P&IDs.
• Calculating and monitoring performance of equipments such as pumps, heat exchangers.
• Having good knowledge of simulation packages such as Aspen/HTRI.
• Equipment handover such as heat exchangers, columns, reactor for catalyst replacement etc. for maintenance and take over.
• Monitoring of unit performance in terms of Catalyst performance, Feed composition, product quality, product streams analysis.
• Commissioning of VGOHT Unit in JERP refinery.
• Execution/commissioning of modifications such as vessels/lines which includes flushing, protocol preparation.
• Knowledge regarding work permit system and risk assessment.
• Insightful experience in developing material and energy balance of the plant and preparing the daily plant energy and material balance report.
• Rich experience in static and rotary equipment operations.
• Took part in HAZOP study for new VGOHT unit.
• Active member of PSM subcommittee for process technology.
• Completed process hazard analysis study for DHTs and VGOHTs.

Degree in Chemical Engineering-71.3 %.
