Tenaris, Dalmine - Global Trainee (2nd assignment) December 2011-Present

•Technical analysis of investment feasibility in the steelshop area
•Carry out Industrial Engineering jobs for the plants, conducting studies, cost analysis of the production process and benchmark across Tenaris plants
•Analyse improvement opportunities, performing benchmarks across Tenaris plants and interacting with Operations area
•Develop homogeneous industrial models that ensure coherence of decisions in all processes and Production Units
•New steel grades cost quotation
•Steelshop productivity parameters budget reduction
•Efficiency analysis of the steelshop area
•Monthly reporting to the steelshop manager and the European Director
•Support Costs, Marketing and Product Engineering department
•Participating as steelshop specialist in Tenaris’ competitiveness global projects
•Manage and complete special production projects in the steelshop area

Tenaris, Buenos Aires - Global Trainee (1st assignment) December 2010-December 2011

•Managing and ensuring final products’ manufacturing quality
•Management of the operators during the day shift
•Rolling mill shift experience
•Management of the communication and the relationship with finishing and quality department
•Technical analysis of the defects in the final product in order to improve process quality and efficiency
•Specific projects aimed at rolling effectively new steel grades for the most demanding Oil & Gas clients
•Oil and Gas, OCTG products, string design and material selection training
•Quality and productivity monthly reporting to the Production Manager
•Safety, 5S and 6 Sigma analysis
•Point of contact for customer technical queries
•Investigation of customer complaints
