Identification of Raw materials and Review of Material Test Certificates
Witness and certify destructive (tensile, bend, impact, hardness) including NDT
To check Calibration of Quivers, Baking ovens, holding ovens.
To Check / monitor the weld parameters, consumables and technique used are according to the specified requirements.
To monitor the quality of the contractors welding / Fabrication (before, during, after)
Inspection of Joints during Fit up.
Visual inspection of welds, involved in Piping spools Vessels, Tanks & structural construction activities.
Review of radiographs and all related NDT & weld History records.
Checking isometrics and verifying as-built drawings.
To witness the hydro test, PWHT, PMI, Hardness, & nondestructive testing in accordance with the approved Inspection Test Plan / Procedures / Specification.
To witness surface profile, Surface cleanliness Soluble Chloride content Test (prior to blast and after blast)
To check complete process parameters such as weather conditions for surface preparation and painting, wet film thickness, recoat interval during painting etc.
Witnessing of DFT, Pinhole / Holiday test & adhesion test (peel of test) on piping spools, pressure vessels as per SP1246.
