Principally consisting of operating the DCS system (ABB-800XA & Honeywell C-300) from the
CCR to control the whole plants including startup, shutdown and maintaining their normal running
conditions according to trends, alarm-logs and client’s requirements.
Monitoring and operating the safety systems (CCTV, Manual Call point, Fire and gas alarm, etc.,)
Keeping close knowledge about the trip logic and cause and effect diagram.
Maintaining operational level, pressure, temperature etc. by controlling valves and other rotating
equipment.
Communicating with the field operator for manual operations and visual checks in the field.
Acting as a center of communication in case of any emergencies including activating the emergency
siren.
Preparing and updating all production related reports on a daily basis.
Updating several data’s starting from the well head reading sample tests and maintaining all records.
