Artisan Rigger

To broaden my current knowledge as a Rigger and assist new staff where necessary to enalbe them to further their careers

I have worked in various locations throughout South Africa working in all aspects of RIGGING. I have an understanding of the legislations relevant to lifting operations. The knowledge and experience of lifting equipment and accessories for lifting. The working knowledge of safe, and best lifting practices. The skill to plan crane lifting operations and the ability to select the correct equipment for the working task. I have the experience checking equipment prior to lifting tasks and have the aptitude in completing lifting plans.

I am a conscientious, hardworking individual. I have excellent communication skills, very reliable and have an excellent time keeping / attendance record. I am trustworthy and am capable of working within a team or if required by myself. I can organize well and can prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. I am qualified and have relevant experience and believe given the opportunity with your company I would be a valued member of your team.

Erect conveyor structure for South Witbank Mine
Demolish old wash plant for South Witbank Mine
Replace spiral chutes in hopper for South Witbank Mine
Replace chutes for Tavistock Mine
Replace floor beams in plant for Tavistock Mine
Replace chutes for Boshmans Colliery
Erect 880m² building steelwork for Mpumalanga Cricket union
